Norwegen Tour

Creeking in the wilderness: world-class whitewater from class III to V in Norway, with natural bivouac spots right on the river.

Norway is so generous with its white water that even after almost 20 Norwegian summers, we have by no means been able to exhaust all the paddling possibilities here. You have the choice between large, powerful or narrow technical rivers, between wide bedrock chutes and narrow boulder gardens. You can paddle the steps and waterfalls in the upper reaches or paddle leisurely into the sea. Contrary to what many people think, Norway doesn't just offer difficult whitewater, but also world-class class III whitewater. The rivers here are different to those in the Alps - Norway definitely broadens your paddling horizons.

When paddling, we are virtually out in the wilderness and at the same time never far from the road or infrastructure. For the most part, we can stay overnight directly on the river and without having to go to a campsite. If the weather is bad - which doesn't happen that often - there are huts everywhere that we can rent.

Creeking Courses with a Water Guarantee

In Norway we offer Creek 1 courses on WW III - IV and Creek 2 courses on WW IV - V. The fair whitewater and the many rivers with drop-and-pool character offer the best conditions for practicing. We visit and discuss spots and while some are still planning their line, others may already be paddling a second or third time. On other days, we paddle 40 kilometers of white water without having to get out of the boat once. It's all there!

The Camp and the Daily Routine

We spend 2–3 days in each region and will decide which route to take depending on the weather and water levels. The long days make it possible for us to find enough time to enjoy camp life, cook well and relax for the following days in addition to paddling.
